Moneybarn was named Sub-Prime Lender of the Year at the Motor Finance Europe Awards and Regulatory Advisor and Projects Manager, Aimee Styles also brought home the Rising Star Award on Tuesday 19 October.
The Motor Finance Europe Awards, which took place in Munich, Germany, celebrate excellence and innovation in the European motor finance industry.
You can find out why Moneybarn was nominated at the bottom of this article.
Moneybarn Managing Director David Shrimpton said,
“Winning these two incredible awards is no mean feat and one that we should all feel very proud of. We’ve achieved some amazing things over the last year as we’ve navigated the pandemic and supported our customers while continuing to innovate as a business. Aimee has been nominated for the Rising Star Award at three different award ceremonies this year, so it’s great to see her hard work being recognised at the Motor Finance Europe Awards.
Aimee, who has only been in the motor finance industry since March 2019, was nominated for her constant determination as well as being the main driving force behind implementing payment holidays across the business, despite having only just started her new role as Regulatory Advisory and Project Manager.
Aimee’s Rising Star Award follows Deal Relations Team Leader Ida Swiderska being named Team Player of the Year at the Women in Credit Awards in September.
Just a few of the reasons why Moneybarn was named

•We onboarded a record-breaking 4,654 new customers in July 2020.
•We remained contactable throughout 2020 by email, phone, social media, live chat and secure messaging on our customer portal.
•Our IT team sourced 90 laptops and installed 70 softphones in just a few weeks at the beginning of the pandemic to make sure our colleagues could support customers.
•The pandemic didn't slow us down, we introduced a vehicle finder tool, a shortened application form, and extended our product into the near-prime market
•We worked with the charity Mind to educate colleagues on how to effectively support vulnerable customers
•We achieved a Net Promoter Survey score in September 2020 of +65, with our more recent one in April 2021 still coming out as +63.
