Our Cards product scooped two trophies at this week’s Moneyfacts Consumer Awards 2023: Credit Card App of the Year and Credit Builder Card Provider of the Year.

Vanquis beat other industry heavy hitters include Capital One, Tesco Bank and Virgin Money to both awards while other winners on the night included Nationwide, First Direct and Halifax.

Managing Director, Cards, Fiona Anderson (right) said,:

“Winning these awards is a huge honour as we were put on a shortlist by a highly qualified research team. However, the great thing about the process is that it involves being voted for by consumers as their feedback helps decide the winners. It shows how we’re being recognised across the industry for putting people on a path to a better everyday life, and I couldn’t be prouder. I like to thank everyone in my team and throughout the business who supports our Cards division.”

The development and maintenance of the Vanquis app is overseen by the Technology and Change team.

Chief Information Officer Clive Whincup (left) said:

“Great to see us winning these awards, especially up against some top competition. The T&C team works hard to constantly evolve the app to make sure it meets the expectations of our customers and delivers the functionality required by the business.”

The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards are known throughout the financial sector for their unique combination of independent expert analysis and comprehensive survey results from over 110,000 people.

Vanquis also won two awards at the Card and Payment Awards last week.
